These pictures are a little smidgen of the glorious day I had today. It's February 19 and I am livin' life!!! Whoo!!!

I just got done making a lot of juice for myself, Casey Scheideman, and Bradford Stewart. We used an array of fruits that included oranges, apples and grapefruit. But, I threw in a few carrots to add some sweet and luscious beta carotene into the mix.

The picture of the man in the red jump suit is the same man who is shown below with a delicious glass of juice. His name is Jack Lalanne. And he is a famous muscle-man who created my ingenious juicer. The official name of my juicer is the "Jack LaLanne Power Juicer". I have the silver/black edition and it works wonders. You will never know the tart and delicious flavor of a freshly made glass of whole fruit juice until you've used one of these juicers. Num num num!!! My favorite is the sour but sweet ruby red grapefruit juice.

On another note...my kitten is growing!! Her name is Kenya and she is about 6 months old and she is a beautiful gray (with white patches) short-haired cat. She is so silly and farts a lot (ew). But I love her company. She is so friendly. Right now, though, she is dreaming on a chair across from me :)

It's kind of funny that humans are so blessed by little animals like dogs or cats. I mean, yes they do show somewhat of a personality from day to day and they show their own version of "love". My boyfriend Casey has a dog named Buster. Buster is a beautiful jack russell terrier/corgi mix. He is the most friendly and loving dog I have ever come across. I could just cuddle him all day and all night and he would never try to go off on his own. The animal shelter said he had been seized from his previous owners, so I think our love is really good for Buster :)

You know how people always say: "You never know what effect you'll have on others". I was just thinking about that. Because I am always blessed by others and their kindness and wonder if I am ever that person to others. That kind person who does something considerate that just makes their friend's day. I hope so!!! But is it conceited to try to look back and find times when I know I must have blessed them? Does doing my roomates' dishes count?? Or am I a blessing when I make juice for others? I pray that people will be blessed by me and that one day someone will tell me that they really appreciated my example. Even if it was just in a single instance, I'm not talking years of mentoring or anything. Maybe that's a lot of what being a Christian is. Realizing that those small blessings you can shower on others are what really counts in life. I know my best friends and the people I respect the most are not the ones who have climbed mountains or made millions. They are the people that make me feel good and who are selfless when I am in need. Hmmm.....
